Phases of the Moon, the newsletter of the Maine NVC Network
Volume Seven, Issue Six: NVC Integration Program: Special Offer
Our newsletter appears approximately once a month. Our purpose is to contribute to the NVC learning of people who have taken at least an NVC Level 1 workshop, and help us stay connected as we endeavor to deepen a culture of peace within ourselves, our families and the world. We believe a Level 1 offers so many new ways of thinking that additional support for learning and integration could be helpful.
We endeavor to make each edition informative, connecting, inspiring and fun. Please let us know how the newsletter might contribute to your NVC well-being. Email: newsletter at mainenvcnetwork.org
Please note: There will be no newsletter in July, as our Senior Editor, Peggy Smith, will be facilitating dialogue at Seeds of Peace International Camp, Otisfield, ME.

MAINE NVC INTEGRATION PROGRAM
SPECIAL ONE TIME OFFER!!
The NVC community is always seeking ways to create the world we envision: where everyone‘s needs matter. In a quest to expand the diversity within the participants of the Maine NVC Integration Program, the trainers are announcing the following special offer.
In alignment with our vision to share & deepen NVC consciousness with as many people as possible, we are making a special one time offer to first-time participants in the 2016-2017 NVC Integration Program. The first ten, first-time participants to register are invited to attend the full program by donation. You will be able to name your contribution – anywhere from $0 to the full amount! (Full amounts are: Residential $2,126; or Commuter $1,876) This offer includes tuition, lodging, meals and materials.
Any offer will be accepted as long as:
- You are a first time participant in the Maine NVC Network Integration Program
- You are fully registered and committed to the program by August 1, 2016
- You are NOT planning to use the program for professional recertification contact hours*
*If you are a professional planning to use the hours toward recertification, we ask you to choose your contribution from a sliding scale of $500 to the full amount, to account for the extra record-keeping required.
This special one time offer is our way of infusing the program with energy and opening up wider possibilities to those for whom finances would be an obstacle. The offer of free coaching time for early registration will not apply for those registering through this special offer.
There is a special registration form for this offer. If you are able to contribute the full amount, please use the original registration form here.

Poetry Corner:
We're all lovers and we're all destroyers. We're all frightened and at the same time we all want terribly to trust. This is part of our struggle. We have to help what is most beautiful to emerge in us and to divert the powers of darkness and violence. I learn to be able to say, "This is my fragility. I must learn about it and use it in a constructive way."
– Jean Vanier
Jean Vanier, CC, GOQ, born September 10, 1928, is a Canadian Catholic philosopher, humanitarian, and the founder of L'Arche, an international federation of group homes for people with developmental disabilities and those who assist them.
